What is Jugger?

What is Jugger: Jugger is a 5v5 team sport based on the movie Salute of the Jugger (release as Blood of Heroes in the US.) Each team consists of 4 members armed with padded foam sticks (or 3 and 1 player with a ball on the end of a rope called the chain) and an unarmed player called the qwik. The objective of the game is to help your qwik secure a foam skull from the middle of the field and escort them across so they can place it in the opposing team’s goal. The options for load outs are as follows:

• Staff - a two handed spear like weapon with a padded section between the wielders hands
• Q-Tip - a qtip shaped weapon with padded ends that allows its wielder a great deal of versatility and flexibility
• Longsword - what it sounds like, your generic two handed sword
• Sword and Board - a short one handed sword combined with a foam shield, perfect defense allows for perfect offense
• The Chain - a 3 meter long rope with a ball on the end, the most range in the game giving its wielder unmatched ability to control space and dictate the flow of the game. (One on the field at a time per team)
• Qtik - also known as the runner, is responsible for scoring the skull into the goal on the enemy's side of the field.
